Indian Airforce Group Y / Medical Assistant Airmen Intake

• Medical Assistant Trade : Candidates must have passed the 10+2 / Intermediate examination or its equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects, securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English. Candidates who have completed a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) from a recognized board with the same minimum marks are also eligible to apply.

• Medical Assistant Trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy) : Applicants should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, obtaining a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English. In addition, candidates must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy or B.Sc in Pharmacy with at least 50% aggregate marks and possess a valid registration certificate issued by the State Pharmacy Council or the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) to be eligible for this recruitment.

• 1. Candidates up to 21 years of age must complete the 1.6 km run within 7 minutes.

• 2. Candidates above 21 years of age possessing a Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy are required to complete the 1.6 km run within 7 minutes 30 seconds.

• Minimum 152.5 cms

• A well-developed and properly proportioned chest with a minimum expansion capacity of 5 cm is mandatory.

• Candidates must have normal hearing ability and should be able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.

• Weight should be maintained in proportion to height and age according to the IAF eligibility standards.

• Candidates must have healthy gums, a well-maintained set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.

• The required visual standard is 6/36 in both eyes, correctable to 6/9 in each eye. Refractive error, including astigmatism, should not be more than +3.50D.
